How did the meeting with the dietitian go? Eating clean takes some getting use to...you will get there. One step at a time.

You are doing great!

You may not believe it - but - you are doing great. Don't stress on completing the goals you set. Just keep on Truck'n and complete the challenge. Everyday gets easier . This is a lifestyle change - that takes time.
Keep Up the Good Work.

That soreness is a feel good feeling. Luxuriate in it. It means you are stressing muscles that have not been stressed in a long time. Doing your exercise at the next scheduled time will actually make them feel better by stretching them out.

You are doing great - just make sure you always feel that soreness - it means you are constantly progressing.

I'm also doing 3x/week RT's (Tue, Thu, Sat) and was pretty sore last week. It gets a little easier after getting over an initial hump. I'm glad having Sun & Mon off to recover.

Getting to bed early is very important. I've found it to be a challenge as real life tends to get in the way. I've had to move a lot of activities with friends, etc to the weekends to avoid being out late and then only getting a few hours sleep. Another side effect is how it changes your meal times. I'm going to write a post about how my meals are evolving with the 3:00 AM wake-up sometime in the next couple days.

I'm going to try the early morning wake ups. That equates to getting to bed by 8pm which will be a huge switch for me, but I do like getting my day started in the wee hours of the morning.

I have a tough time with 5:30am - 3:00am - OMG.

I took those before pictures - actually about a week after I started dieting and exercising - when I knew that I was actually going to do it. Took the after pictures 2 years later and posted them on the TNT Forum and my blog. I had to make the posting of the pictures a "goal" for that 52DC to force me to do it. It was worth it.

Your attitude is great. Without knowing what I was looking for, I stumbled on the 52DC site about a year and a half ago. It has really helped me to keep a focus on my Diet and Exercise programs. Posting on that site - every day and volunteering to be a daily host, will help you get to the finish line. No matter what happens with your meeting your goals, just sticking with it and completing the Challenge is a win.

It really is a step in the right direction.

Good Luck with the Challenge

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I go down to Florida periodically for long weekends or short weeks - whatever. There are two types of places - those that aim at the retirees and have lots of machines and few weights, and those that aim at body builders. The "gym" at my development is maybe 20x20 with 5 or so cardio machines - and a universal. Worthless. So I go to something close by - and cheap. Just may have to aim at the "big dogs" gym this time - now that I am not using machines anymore - or I could just sleep. Tune in next Saturday - to find out the answer.

My alarm is set fo 5:30am - on the gym floor by 6:15. There are those who are leaving as I get there. Sometimes I bring my work clothes and shower there - other times, I head home. Depends upon what time I have to be at work.

I was never an early morning person - but this has become my life. I can always get in my workout without any excuses. 3:00 am - you damn well put me to shame.
